Today’s the day. The Subaru/G4 commercial project I started back in May is finally airing.
We shot 4 60-second spots in 2 days. It was definitely the biggest project I’ve ever directed and produced: highways were closed down, cars were rigged, we shot at multiple locations and sets, and had a crew of about 30. I had a great team who despite the desert sun and temps really came together to make it one of the smoothest running shoots I’ve experienced (hopefully they feel the same).
I want to give big thanks to G4 for giving me another cool opportunity like this. They’re really a great company to work with, and we’ve done some really fun, quality spots together. So big shout out to Ross, Caragh, Jedd, and Lorenzo. Thanks again.
Also want to thank Josh Beane & Idea Farmer, Mike Bartol, Dana Merwin, Jordan Levy, Kyle Reiter, Kate Stewart, Zach Z, Neal, Nate, Tara, Rick, & everyone else for doing great work on the crew side and Randall, Bill, Lindsay, Marshall, and Sara for bringing so much in front of the camera.
The spots will be airing today between 4pm and 8pm and will probably be online soon after that. I’ll post them up here soon. Hope you guys get a chance to check them out.
