I set this as my phone’s wallpaper (a willy roberts original painting) for a shot in a short film I’m making with Wade and Willy. I decided to keep it there as a reminder to myself…to not forget about the film we’re making, I guess? I don’t know the exact reason, but it was nice to have it there as encouragement; “finish this short and you can take this ugly shit off your phone” (sorry willy). I can’t take it off yet, but yesterday we finished principal shooting on the short. It took 6 days of shooting, and 5 months of planning and prep to get it done. Now it’s on to post. Thank you to the small army of people who have put time and energy into this so far. I appreciate it, and hope the final product doesn’t suck.
